Half moon light

A week ago I was in hanging around the Eastern Sierra waiting for the magic hour and couldn’t resist shooting the moon through the clouds.  Photo tip: placement of your subject matter is key for image like this.  If I had composed the image with the moon dead center the photo would have lost its feel, in would have become static.  By placing it of center and lower your eyes move through the image instead of just staying fixed in the center.
